 Fáilte ó Mhúinteoir Tonaí!

Obair Bhaile

  1. SR (Shared Reading): every child should have a reader from our graded reader library; once they've read a book aloud at home they can swap it for a new one
  2. Léitheoireacht (Irish reading): leabhairín a léamh os ord - read leabhairín aloud

The poems from Dance Shoes For GG are available to learn on the Poems page; the gásúir should be learning these off as well as those on the Dánta page.

Focail Mata: comhair, sóinseáil/sinseáil, aghaidh, faobhar, cúinne / coirnéal, meastachán, líon, céanna, saghas, tomhais, meáchan, slios, dísle (practice words with them with the help of the linked sound files)

I've altered the website design to display submenus at the bottom of each page. This should assist those with iPad related problems accessing the dynamic submenus that drop off the main roghchlár.

Parents, please make sure to initial the Dialann Obair Bhaile every night Luan-Déardaoin.

I will make every effort to have the OB up here each day but due to internet issues this may not always be possible. When this happens I will try to update this page from my mobile as I often work late in the scoil; failing that I can update only when I get home. Rang a haon will continue to note their OB in their dialanna. As the first items won't change during a week they only need note the next items after Monday, usually from 5 on, which may include work that they individually didn't manage to finish in class.

Deireadh seachtainí - Weekends

Reinforce your child's progress over the non-school days through shared reading in both languages, tin whistle practice and some simple maths problems based on their class work. A wee bit of free writing (no spelling corrections) and/or simple sentence dictation (with spelling assistance and/or correction) would also be of benefit.
